Amrita School of Arts and Sciences Library, Mysore is housed in an area of 162 sq. meters consisting of both the stack section and reading area having an Open Access system for access to the various resources available. The Library made a modest beginning in 2003 with 1500 books containing General books, Textbooks, Reference Books, Journals, Magazines, Newspapers and CD collection which cater to the needs of the students of both Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses.
Membership
Membership of the Library is open to all the Students of School of Arts and Sciences and the Faculty members. Honorary membership is provided to persons of repute and also to ex-staff members of the school.
Library Collection
With a rich collection based on the needs and requirements of the users, the library collection consists of General books, Textbooks, Reference books, CD collection, Gift books, Magazines, Journals and Newspapers.
Services
The following services are provided by the library:
- Circulation service: (Issue/Return/Renewal)

- New Additions of Books are displayed and announced on a regular basis for the benefit of the Staff and Students.
- Newspaper Clipping service:
- Clippings of Newspapers relating to various news items which may be of interest to the user community of the college.
- Photocopy services: Xerox facility is provided at the reception counter at the rate of seventy five paise per copy.
- Question Bank: Old question papers are provided to students and faculty on request for reference.
